AI: Accelerator of Digital Transformation

Have you ever considered how artificial intelligence (AI) can fundamentally transform your business and accelerate digital transformation?

The partnership between AMD, Silo AI and Combient, involving 38 major companies in Northern Europe, including giants like H&M and Saab, exemplifies how collaborative efforts in AI lead to impressive results. By creating powerful AI solutions, they help companies implement innovations and achieve new heights of efficiency and competitiveness.

In case you missed it: in July 2024, AMD acquired Silo AI, Europe's largest private AI laboratory, for $665 million. This acquisition expanded AMD's capabilities in enterprise AI solutions. Building on their previous successful collaboration, AMD (including Silo AI) and Combient are expanding their partnership to provide a scalable high-performance computing environment (HPC) for companies within the Combient network.

In our practice, we have repeatedly observed the transformative power of AI. The key to successful AI integration into business processes lies in the following three fundamental aspects:

  1. Integration of AI into existing systems:

Simply implementing an AI solution by itself does not guarantee success. It is important to seamlessly integrate AI into the company's existing IT infrastructure. For example, consider a warehouse management system. Implementing AI can optimize logistics by predicting demand and managing inventory. However, if the AI system is not integrated with the WMS (Warehouse Management System), the potential of AI will not be fully realized. Instead of synergy, there will be fragmentation of data and processes.

  1. Training employees in new technologies:

AI is not just software; it's a new approach to work. It is necessary to train employees to work with AI tools, interpret results, and make decisions based on data provided by AI. For example, a marketing department using AI for targeted advertising should understand how AI analyzes customer data and how to adjust advertising campaigns based on this information. Without proper training, employees may underestimate or misuse the power of AI.

  1. Continuous support and development of AI solutions:

The world of AI is constantly evolving. Implementing an AI solution is not the finish line, but the beginning of a journey. It is necessary to continuously monitor the effectiveness of AI systems, update them, adapt them to new tasks, and train them on new data. For example, an AI chatbot used for customer service should constantly learn from new questions and answers to improve service quality. Without continuous support and development, an AI solution can become outdated and lose its effectiveness.
